French Onion Chicken Casserole

If you are like me, sometimes you need a quick fix on a weeknight. This French Onion Chicken Casserole is simple and fast.

Ingredients :
  • 4 cups cooked chicken , shredded or cubed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules*
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon rubbed sage , sub rosemary or thyme
  • 1-2 cups caramelized onions
  • 1 cup French cut green beans
  • 6 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 1 can refrigrated biscuits , cut into quarters
  • Cooking Spray
Directions :
  1. Coat a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, mayonnaise, sour cream, heavy cream, bouillon, salt and pepper and sage.

  3. Fold in the French cut greens beans and caramelized onions. Spread the mixture evenly into your dish.

  4. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove and layer Swiss cheese over the hot chicken mixture. Evenly distribute the biscuit quarters and return to oven for 10 minutes, or until tops are lightly browned.

  5. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
