Homemade Hummus

Homemade hummus is creamy, smooth, and packed with flavor and it’s perfect for dipping or spreading on just about anything!

Ingredients :
  • 15 ounces canned chickpeas , drained and rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic , grated or minced
Directions :
  1. Place the chickpeas in a large food processor and process until they start to make a paste.

  2. Add the tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, water and garlic. Blend until smooth.

  3. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Stir well before serving with your favorite pita, crudites or on a sandwich.
