Onion Grilled Pork Chop Recipe

Use Onion Soup Mix and a few other key ingredients to make a tasty marinade for pork on the grill!

Ingredients :
  • 4-6 boneless pork chops
  • 1 onion soup mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • Cooking Spray
Directions :
  1. Combine the onion soup mix, water, lemon juice, oil, ketchup and soy sauce in an airtight bag or a large container for marinating. Marinate the pork chops for 1- 24 hours. Remove them from the refrigerator 20 minutes prior to grilling. Discard leftover marinade.

  2. Heat the grill to medium-high heat (350°F) and spray with cooking spray or oil the grates.

  3. Grill on each side for 10-12 minutes. This will largely depend on how your grill holds heat and the thickness of your chops. Use a meat thermometer and aim for 145°F.

  4. Remove the pork chops from the grill and allow them to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
