Open Face Pizza Burgers

A juicy BUBBA burger on top of a toasted English muffin topped with pizza sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese and zesty pepperoni bites.

Ingredients :
  • 4 Original BUBBA burgers
  • 4 English muffin bottoms
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 4 thick slices mozzarella cheese , or about ¾ cup shredded
  • ¼ cup mini pepperonis
Directions :
  1. Place the frozen burger directly on a preheated grill (350°F on indirect heat) or skillet (medium heat).

  2. Wait for the juices to rise to the top without moving the burger around and do NOT press on it with a spatula, approximately 4 to 6 minutes.

  3. Flip the BUBBA burger and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes or until your desired doneness.

  4. Toast the English muffin bottoms under the broiler. Times to lightly brown vary greatly depending on your broiler, so watch closely. Remove when toasted.

  5. Slather burgers with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, then place a top on so the cheese melts, approximately 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place them on toasted English muffins.

  6. Serve with extra marinara for dipping.
