There is nothing more comforting than a piping hot bowl of chili on a cold day. This version of White Chicken Chili skips the usual tomato and ground beef base and instead uses hearty garbanzo beans and chicken.
Add the beans to the bottom of the crock pot, then add the chicken, onion, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper and broth.
Cover with the lid and cook on low for 7 hours.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, and shred with two forks.
Return the chicken to the slow cooker and stir in the cilantro and yogurt.
Serve with more yogurt, jalapeno slices and lime wedges.
